About Us

Purely Bees is a small "cottage industry" producer of honey, beeswax and other beekeeping related products, based in Bexhill-On-Sea in East Sussex. Our products are locally sourced from our own beehives and those of selected trusted beekeepers in East Sussex, and we pride ourselves in using the most natural beekeeping methods possible - meaning that we avoid the use of any chemicals at all in our beehives, and do our best to respect the bees' natural way of life without attempting to force them to produce excessive amounts of honey.

Our very low carbon footprint!

Our honey is locally produced, processed and sold – in other words there is a very low carbon footprint. Most commercially produced honey is a blend of honeys from across the EU or even across the world.

Where can you find our products?

Update: February 2023 The bees did exceptionally well last year, and we had a bumper crop of honey! The other exciting news is that we've launched our online shop (at last) so you can now buy our delicious honey from the comfort of your armchair! See below for a selection of our products, or click on the "Online Shop" link at the top of the page.

We only sell our produce directly to the public - you won't find our exclusive products in supermarkets or shops. We occasionally attend markets and events; you can purchase honey and beeswax directly from us via our online store (with FREE delivery!) or you can collect from us in Bexhill-on-Sea or Saint Leonards in East Sussex (by appointment only - please get in touch via the details on the Contact Us page to check that we haven't run out of what you're after, and to arrange a convenient time for collection). * We also sell pure natural beeswax * Sign up for our newsletter if you'd like us to let you know when our next harvest is ready!
